A list of my top 10 favorite movies and why.
(Mainly because, they're movies I like to watch over and over)
- Jaws-- other than being a movie about a great white shark terrorizing a small community of beach-goers, I really liked watching how Chief Brody, Hooper and Quint interacted while hunting the man-eating great white.
- 2012-- I love disaster movies, and this one happens to be my all-time favorite disaster movie. John Cusack is absolutely hilarious in this one. The destruction of cities, homes, buildings, countries, etc. was unbelievable! And, the fact with all this destruction and devastation, it brought people from all over the world together under those circumstances.
- You've Got Mail-- out of all the Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan comedy romance movies, I like this one the best. Whenever I watch this I get a warm and charming feel from it, not to mention the love hate relationship between Joe Fox and Kathleen Kelly.
- Jurassic Park-- when I was a kid, I loved dinosaurs, and just like the characters Dr. Grant and Ellie, I've always wondered what it would've been like to actually see a T-Rex up close (or at least from the silver screen).
- Kung Fu Hustle-- this movie is downright hilarious from beginning to end! Even though, Sing's antics are often childish and cruel, I can't help but laugh. This action comedy which has amazing fighting scenes also has characters that you'd grow to love and hate.
- Twilight-- as a Twilight fan, I've seem to never get enough between the relationship between Bella and Edward, the fact that she's human and he's a vampire will always be something that strikes my curiosity.
- Outbreak-- I love this movie, and honestly I think I was more upset with some of the characters, only because a lot of people died because of one man holding the cure that could've saved the people. However, there was that helicopter chase, the back and forth investigation trying to solve the outbreak, made it that more interesting.
- Memoirs of a Geisha-- this was an interesting story from beginning to end. To me, it was educational and a real eye-opener, what life was like for Chiyo growing up in a household run by geisha's , eventually one day becoming a geisha herself.
- Shinobi: Heart Under Blade-- a tale about forbidden romance, who wouldn't want to watch that? Shinobi: Heart Under Blade resembles the tragic love story Ja Myung Go, but with a sci-fi-ish twist that is filled with interesting characters, amazing fight scenes and awesome special effects.
- Final Fantasy: Advent Children-- being a fan of the video game, Final Fantasy: Advent Children is filled with stunning CGI, interesting characters and incredible fighting scenes and LOTS of action.
